Install the beta

MindMargin is coming to the Chrome Web Store soon. Until then, install the beta by hand. It takes about a minute.

  1. Download the beta and unzip it. Keep the folder somewhere permanent, like Documents.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome.
  3. Turn on Developer mode (top right).
  4. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
  5. A welcome tab opens. Follow it, then ask ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini anything.
  6. Reload any ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini tab you already had open.

Chrome may show a banner about developer-mode extensions. That's expected for a beta.

Updating the beta: unzip the new version over the same folder, then click the reload icon on chrome://extensions. Using a new folder resets your progress.
