What is MindMargin?
MindMargin is a Chrome extension for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. When the AI starts writing an answer, a small card slides in with one quick thing to practice: one of your own flashcards, an SAT or GRE word, or a short vocabulary game. When the answer is ready, you are back in your chat.
Which AI sites does it work on?
ChatGPT (chatgpt.com), Claude (claude.ai) and Gemini (gemini.google.com), in Google Chrome on a computer.
Does it change my chat or slow the AI down?
No. MindMargin only watches whether the AI is writing, and reads the latest answer on your screen to spot words worth learning. It never types into your chat and never sends your chat anywhere.
Can I study my own flashcards?
Yes. Paste in a Quizlet set, a spreadsheet or a CSV file. MindMargin schedules each card with FSRS, the memory model Anki uses, and brings back the ones you are about to forget during your AI waits and on the study page.
Is it free?
Yes. Everything in the beta is free today. Later, an optional Pro plan adds unlimited decks, the full SAT and GRE tracks and more. The free version keeps the whole wait card, every game, streaks and the study page.
Do I need an account?
No. MindMargin works fully without one. Optional accounts are coming with the next update, so you can keep your streak and flashcards in sync across computers if you want to.
